All the logs we sell are kiln dried and this is after splitting which is a much more efficient method, producing a drier and better performing log.
Kiln dried logs are 3 times more efficient than moist green wood which holds a large amount of moisture, sometimes up to 60% of its overall content. Seasoned wood can contain up to 35% moisture content whereas kiln dried wood only holds up to 18% moisture content, making it by far the best performer.
